@Marco - I agree with Anthony about recording to hard drive or some sort of SD card format. This saves you a lot of time.

In addition - I recommend looking for cameras that have “night vision” capability or the ability to produce reasonably good video in low light circumstances.

For me - this is the single most important feature since the majority of dancing occurs in low light conditions.

Hi. I’m Franklin; originally from Cameroon but now I live/work in Las Vegas.

@Anthony - Thank you for constantly innovating and implementing different ways for salser@s to interact with each other online. I admire your progressive, ’bleeding edge’ mindset. Your enthusiasm is infectious.

@Trung - I moved to Las Vegas from Kansas City so I’m very familiar with the scene in KC. The single best nugget of information I can give you is to sign up on the mailing lists for each of the promoters. There are three main ones. Josue - http://www.kcsalsa.com, Howard - http://www.salsanoche.com, and Victor - vsalsainfo@gmail.com. You will receive info about just about everything that goes on.

As far as what the scene is like - I have very fond memories. I met and developed some of my closest friends there. Most people dance On1 but there’s a sizeable On2 presence.
